Wesley Shum

Coach / Co-Founder
Wes swam competitively and his club records have yet to be broken. His experience from being a club swimmer led him to become a lifeguard and a swim coach. He has been a lifeguard/swimming instructor for the City of Vancouver since 2007 and he is very familiar with the Canadian Swim Programs.
Wes is currently attending Kwantlen Polytechnic University where he will complete his Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Bradley Kuong

Coach / Co-Founder
Brad is a passionate, lifelong learner who strives to inspire swimmers to develop strong skills and lasting healthy habits. A certified Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor since 2008, he brings a depth of knowledge and practical expertise to his teaching. He also holds a degree in Recreation Management and a diploma in Human Kinetics.
Nicholas Lee

Head Coach
Nick is very passionate in helping swimmers reach greater heights and to have a strong competitive mindset. At a very young age he has developed strong discipline and perseverance skills to help him reach greater potential in the swimming world. His goal: to enhance each swimmers technique and power while having an enjoyable time in the water learning new things. Currently attending BCIT diploma program studying Computer Information Systems Administration.
Nick has been coaching with Tempest Aquatics Club since 2015.
Chloe Glue
Senior Coach
Chloe competed in swimming for seven years before transitioning into coaching for several years. She is currently studying at UBC with the goal of becoming a high school teacher. A lifelong swimmer, she is passionate about helping athletes develop new skills, refine their technique, and learn in a fun, supportive environment.
